Beauty. A study in Winsor blue, red shade. Watercolour on Arches paper 77cm X 57cm Part of an exploration of beauty in 8 parts, using lettering and paint in my contemporary take on manuscript illumination. About a week and a half went into rendering the intricately detailed, interlaced foliage. The oak leaves are my favourite.
