Lessons Learned as an Artist Since 2017

I've been selling my work since 2017 and here are 5 things I've learnt about myself as an artist over the years. 1. I have a mean inner critic I need to silence. 2. I need to make peace with the chaos that comes with working from home. 3. Having a creative ritual is the best way to signal to my brain it's time to slow down so I can create. 4. Expect a rubbish first draft! It's fine, it's my brain warming up to the task. 5. Creating art is a rollercoaster of emotions. It's important to push through, most especially when I've reached the dark night of the soul phase. What things have you learnt about yourself over the years?
