Celebrating Small Wins in Creative Business

Having ambitious goals means living in the tension between a beautiful vision, baby steps and a huge to do list. Building a small business can only be done through all of those little moments. Sometimes progress feels slow. Looking back at the small wins can help see how far you've come. Getting another wholesale order was really exciting. A shop wants to sell my work! I got sooooo many emails from my newsletter subscribers telling me which coloured background they liked best. I replied to every single one. Having conversations with people is so encouraging. I carved out time for some art. I'm hugely proud of this last one, I've also had a record number of appointments this week, so getting any art in feels like a win.
